As part of the anniversary celebrations, the RSN hosted Singapore's inaugural International Maritime Review (IMR) on 15 May 2017. The IMR was an opportunity for the RSN to welcome its allies from around the world for its 50th anniversary celebrations.
The Navy Song encapsulates the spirit of our men and women, and pays tribute to our people’s fighting spirit in overcoming odds and striving on to victory. First composed in 1976 as a two-stanza Midshipman song by our first batch of locally-trained midshipman to capture their aspirations of our early Navy, the song reflects on our Navy’s humble beginnings, and urges us to keep moving onwards and upwards in the service of our nation. A third stanza was added in 1989 by then-COL Teo Chee Hean, who was Chief of Staff – Naval Staff and Director of the Joint Operations and Planning Directorate. He felt that the fledgling navy had arrived at a point where it was writing a new chapter in its history. The new stanza reflected the growth and maturity in naval operations, which required us to wo...

Who are you going call for a damaged runway? We've been showcasing our Soldiers from the Army but Soldiers from the Republic of Singapore Air Force are just as important -- especially when it comes to robust and resilient air power generation capabilities. Exclusively from our counterparts in the Air Force Information Centre, we bring you an inside view of what happens when our runways are damaged. Witness how Operationally-Ready National Servicemen (ORNS) from 505 Squadron rapidly repair a simulated damaged-runway and sustain air power generation. Hope you enjoy this while we bring you more Air-Land features :)
A video I made about the Republic of Singapore navy. The Singapore Navy is actually the most "deployed" force in Singapore. As Singaporean warships are constantly deployed overseas and far from home. Families of sailors usually don't see their loved ones for months, which is really tough. Singaporean sailors and naval personnel have a strong dedication and love for their job. They sacrifice daily for us, to keep our sea lanes safe. I hope you all enjoy this video! Like this video if you did, comment to tell me how I should improve, and subscribe if you would like to see more! Enjoy! Song name: Feint: We won't be alone Clips from Cyberpioneer and various sources. I could not have possibly filmed them myself as i'm not authorized.

RSAF brought 2 of their F-15SG Strike Eagles to the Avalon airshow in 2017. Only on static display for the duration of the airshow, the two Eagles burn it up as they depart for Darwin. I've personally been waiting a long time to see a F-15 again. The last time I had seen one was at the 2003 at my first Avalon airshow. Please Comment Rate and Subscribe!

Day in, day out, our Navy personnel work quietly and tirelessly behind the scenes, defending our Everyday to ensure Singapore’s waters are safe. While their individual tasks may seem small, they put in their best in all that they do. They draw strength from those who work alongside them Everyday, those whom they call family. And like a family, everyone comes together and works towards a larger purpose. The Strength of Our Everyday lies in our People, in our Navy Family.
